Kathryn Seckler, CPA

Partner | kseckler@dayseckler.com | vCard

“I work hard to meet the needs of my clients. My top priority is to provide them with high quality, personal service.”

As one of the founding partners of Day Seckler, Kathy provides comprehensive accounting, auditing and tax services to the firm’s clients. Specifically, she works with an array of clients, including manufacturing and distribution companies, professional service organizations and nonprofit entities. Kathy is also the firm’s “go-to” professional for employee benefit plan audits. She also assists corporate and individual clients in reviewing and preparing income tax returns.

Before joining Day Seckler LLP, Kathy served as a senior manager at a regional accounting firm for eleven years. She began her accounting career at Bennett, Kielson, Storch and Co. The knowledge and understanding she has gained from her current and previous positions truly makes her an asset to her clients.

With over two decades of experience, Kathy is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to meet the individual needs of her clients. She is especially proud of one engagement where she assisted a client with the sale of their business to a third party, resulting in a significant profit for the shareholders.

Kathy attributes much of her success to her continued motivation to learn and grow as a professional. It was this attribute that led her to partner in the creation of Day Seckler LLP with her partners, Wayne and Pam. Her career at the firm is no longer a job, but has become a part of her life.

Kathy grew up in Massapequa, New York and now lives in Hopewell Junction with her husband, Michael, and their two sons. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and playing tennis and basketball.
